Huligemma Temple

With a history that dates back to a thousand years, the Huligemma Temple is perched on the banks of the river Tungabadra in the hamlet of Huligi. It is considered to be the abode of Godess Durga after self-manifestation of a stone resembling the Goddess. The temple tends to be very crowded on days Tuesdays and Fridays, as these are the days dedicated to this deity.

Huligemma temple is situated at Huligi also called as Munirabad. It is near to Hospet. Trains are available from Hospet. Train farom Hospet to Munirabad will take 10 minutes

Hampi

Hampi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in India located near Hospet town in the Karnataka state, India.

Pampa Sarovar

Pampa Sarovar is a beautiful lake that is located between near Anegundi in Karnataka. The lake is situated in a charming valley that lies to the south of the Tungabhadra River. It is considered to be one of the five holy lakes in India.

It is famous for its religious significance and is revered by the Hindus.The beauty and spirituality of the lake attracts a large number of pilgrims as well as tourists throughout the year.

Anjanadri Hills

An important place of mythological significance. According to the Ramayana, it is believed that the Anjana hills are the place of birth of lord Hanuman.

A temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman and his mother Anjana Devi is located on the hill top.Recommend an early morning climb or late evening climb.All of the Hampi's riverside ruins can be seen from the hilltop.

Sanapur Lake

Sanapur Lake is easily one of those 'secret attractions' around Hampi.Sanapur Lake formed by an irrigation reservoir is a great excursion point from Hampi. The natural lake with stunning boulder hills all around makes the theme of this locale.

The road you'll take to reach Sanapur Lake will wind through paddy and banana plantations , before it wiggle around massive boulders precariously overhanging onto the road. Drive to Sanapur Lake and the ambient around the lake has character, you'll savour.You'll also find local village folks offer coracle ride (fun ride) on the lake.

Kishkinda

A very popular folklore associates the landscape in Hampi with the Hindu epic Ramayana (see Ramayana in Hampi). The monkey kingdom, Kishkinda, is portrayed as the region around Hampi. Anjaneya Hill, located across the river Tungabhadra, is believed to be the birth place of Hanuman.

Gavimath Temple

The Gavimath spur contains four caves and a modern temple, with Lingayat Gurus. There are also some jain samadhis opposite one of these caves. The hill commands a beautiful view.
