Huligemma Temple

With a history that dates back to a thousand years, the Huligemma Temple is perched on the banks of the river Tungabadra in the hamlet of Huligi. It is considered to be the abode of Godess Durga after self-manifestation of a stone resembling the Goddess. The temple tends to be very crowded on days Tuesdays and Fridays, as these are the days dedicated to this deity.

Huligemma temple is situated at Huligi also called as Munirabad. It is near to Hospet. Trains are available from Hospet. Train farom Hospet to Munirabad will take 10 minutes

Gavimath Temple

The Gavimath spur contains four caves and a modern temple, with Lingayat Gurus. There are also some jain samadhis opposite one of these caves. The hill commands a beautiful view.
